Background:
Ocean Harvest Technology (OHT), a provider of sustainable animal nutrition products, sought comprehensive IT management. OHT listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in April of 2023 and this led to a cash injection to spearhead their global expansion. OHT currently operates in the UK, Ireland and Vietnam and they needed to ensure that their IT roadmap scales to meet their manufacturing expansion and ensure their users have the infrastructure to support their daily operations. Challenge:
Ocean Harvest Technology needed robust IT support for expansion and management of hardware, software, licensing, IT infrastructure and project management, alongside a critical ERP project that had to be deployed in three countries. A major challenge was also dealing with language and cultural barriers regarding their operations in Vietnam. They also needed to put in place IT governance and policies to support their submission to the LSE in order to qualify for their listing. They also have to remain compliant with GDPR and other requirements.
Solution:

The team expertly managed an ERP project, mapping business processes, aiding in vendor selection, and implementing Acumatica ERP in Vietnam. Pivot Guru assisted in finding a Vietnamese implementation partner for their ERP deployment, that could also speak English, in order to navigate to language barrier and ensure a successful deployment. Pivot Guru also assisted OHT in their compliance efforts for the LSE listing as well as the ongoing audit and submission to remain data compliant.
